I got it working after several hours of experimenting. Applying the latest CODEX crack to my official download of the game, and running the Lava binary with Proton 5.13. Newer protons works fine too but they have weird no image found type of errors on loading screens and look ugly. And most lower protons don’t accept the steam deck controller.

When you begin the level, Kick the two Boxes, then pan the camera left and Hookshot the Box to the left on the cliff. Look ahead and Hookshot the Saw Kid, then jump across and Hookshot the next one. For this problem, what I did was go to the volume settings for the computer and make sure the speakers for the computer are selected as the output device and not the ps4 controller, which the computer could automatically do when the ps4 controller first connects to it. #12. coolDisguise Apr 4, 2018 @ 3:02pm.
