Anyway, i have a 2001 mondeo 1.8 petrol and am having a problem with the rear passenger side lighting cluster, basically the only thing working on it at the moment is the indicator. I've taken the cluster out and plugged it into the drivers side and it works so the bulbs and the cluster itself is fine, i also went through the relevant fuses and Ford Mondeo Forum / Ford Fusion Forum. Ford should re-programme the keys for about £100. Re-programming can also be done by Ford as could mileage adjustment. I suggest popping to Ford and asking them how much to re-configure a 2nd hand cluster and re-programme keys if you tow the vehicle to them once you have fitted the cluster. 1. Quote.
Remove the BCM and check for any corrosion on any of the contacts (once you disconnect the plugs), if they are clean then it's got to be the cluster joints have become loose. Search on Ebay for "Focus MK2 Instrument Cluster Repair", you send it off and they fix and return the cluster to you, should cost no more than about £70
